Congratulations!
Congratulations
to Rosemary Hemmingsen of Tracy, our $100 weekly calendar raffle
winner. Thank you for
supporting our school!
Report Cards
Please make sure
to return your child/ren’s report cards.
We need those for fourth quarter.
There are still several report cards missing.
Thank you!
Dress for Mass Days
This is a
reminder that we need to dress nicely for school Mass days.
Lately, I’ve noticed our students wearing sweatpants,
sweatshirts, and ripped jeans to church.
This is not appropriate church wear.
Please remind your child/ren to dress nicely and if needed
their teachers will allow them to change into different clothes
after
Mass.
Thank you!
Accreditation Visit
On Tuesday and
Wednesday of next week, the Accreditation Team will be visiting our
school. If you are
picking your child/ren up either of those days, don’t be surprised
if team members speak with you in the hallway.
Please take the time to speak with them, they just want to
find out what we think and feel about St. Mary’s School.
Thank you so much!

Basics Testing
We’ve had a
successful week testing and now almost every grade is finished.
There are just a few students who have been absent who need
to make up tests. These
tests will be mailed in as soon as all tests are made up and we
should have test results in time to be sent home with 4th
Quarter Report Cards.
All School Prayer
The
Kindergarten, First, and Second Graders are preparing April’s All
School Prayer for Friday, April 16th at 2:40 p.m.
Spring Pictures
Spring Pictures
were sent home last week. If
you decide not to keep any of the Spring Pictures please send the
packet back to school immediately.
There is an order blank on the inside of your Spring Picture
packet if you choose to purchase the packet or it is priced by the
sheet. If you have any
questions, please contact the office.
Hot Lunch Statements
In January the
hot lunch invoices for the remainder of the year were sent home with
the oldest child in your family.
Please note that new statements were sent home last week.
The credits were given for days absent and the amounts were
adjusted to account for the 2 extra make up day for the snow days
that were missed. Please
send in all payments for April that were due on the first.
Questions please contact Robin.
Thanks.
Volunteer Appreciation Week
Next week is
Volunteer Appreciation Week. I
would like to take this time to thank the many volunteers who work
so hard to make sure our school, students, and fundraisers run
smoothly. Without your
help we wouldn’t be able to do many of the wonderful things that
happen at our school. Thank
you to Patty Peterson for helping in the library and as our Marathon
Chair and to Alita Lenertz for reading with our students each week.
Thank you to Linnea Surprenant for her work with the SCRIP
program. Thank you to
the Education Committee members for their dedication to our school,
Matt Surprenant, Kathy Brockway, Marla Verlinde, Jeri Schons, and
Dawn Benson. Also, thank
you to the chairs of all of our Fundraisers, Kathy Brockway for
Dad’s Belgian Waffles, Chuck and Claudette Ankrum and Ryan and
Marla Verlinde for the Box Cars Day Food Stand, LuAnn Lessman for
magazine sales, Tammy Horner for candy sales, Melissa Christian for
wreath sales, Keith and Jeri Schons for the Tracy Soup and Pie, Matt
and Linnea Surprenant for the Currie Soup and Pie and the Currie
Fish Fry, and Dawn Benson for certificate sales.
Also, thank you to all of our parents who help work these
fundraisers and participate in the many events to make them
successful. We
definitely couldn’t do it without any of your help!
Thank you!
