Calendar Raffle Winner

CPT Late Start

This is a reminder for everyone that we have a 2-Hr. Late Start tomorrow morning.  School will not begin until 10:05 a.m.  If you are dropping your child off early, please do not do so until 9:45 a.m.  Thank you!

St. Mary’s Kindergarten Round-Up

St. Mary’s Kindergarten Round-Up will be on Friday, April 24, 2009.  We will celebrate with Mass in the morning and then Round-Up will begin at 9:45 a.m.  If you know of anyone who is interested in St. Mary’s School, please let them know about Round-Up and if they have any questions to call the school office.

Greenwood Nursery Certificate Sale

Certificates are in!  If you signed the waiver, the certificates are coming home with your child.  Otherwise, certificates can be picked up in the school office.  Thank you!

Thank You to All!

I would like to thank all of the families that worked so hard to make this fundraiser a huge success!!!  I would also like to thank the families that donated prizes to the fundraiser.  Our final sale amount was

$16, 975.00 (we had some late orders turned in).  Since we met our goal, the kids will be rewarded with ice cream sundaes.  The 4^th and 6^th graders receive class parties for being the highest sellers.  They were within $6 of one another, so both are very deserving of their parties.  Please check your orders right away to make sure everything is o.k.  I will be leaving Friday night (April 17^th) and will not be returning until April 27^th.  So, if there are issues, I would like to take care of them before I leave.  If you still have some money to turn in, please turn it into the school office and Robin will hold on to it until I get back.  Please try to get your certificates delivered as quickly as possible.  I know that we do have people who are anxious to use them.  Great Job Everyone!!

Testing at St. Mary’s

Please remember that our annual Iowa Basics Testing for Grades 1-6 is taking place until Wednesday, April 29^th.  Please make sure that your child/ren are in school each day and have had a good breakfast.  These tests are important indicators of your child/ren’s academic growth, please speak with your child/ren about trying their hardest on these tests.  Thank you!

 Alleluia Parties

As a celebration of Easter, we will be having Alleluia Parties in the classroom this year.  Parties will be on Friday, April 17^th and start at 2:00 p.m. 

First Communion Retreat

2^nd Graders will be making their First Communion on Sunday, May 3^rd at Mass at St. Mary’s in Tracy .  This is a reminder that the First Communion Retreat will be Saturday, April 18^th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Religious Education Whopper Feed

Religious Education is sponsoring a Whopper Feed here at St. Mary’s on Wednesday, April 22^nd from 5:00-7:00 p.m. 

Speaker for Kindergarten Round-Up
