form inside each packet to use.

Volunteer Appreciation Week
This week during
Volunteer Appreciation Week, I need to thank some more of our
volunteers who do so much for our school.
Thank you to Joe Vandendriessche our Athletic Director and
basketball coach, Laurie Vandendriessche Book Fair Coordinator, Jim
Vandendriessche, Casey, and Brandon Benson our basketball coaches,
and Brenda Rolling for Tracy Soup and Pie.
Once again, thank you to everyone who do so many things for
our school!
Certificate Sales Thank You!
I would like to
thank all of the families that worked so hard to make this
fundraiser a huge success!!! I
would also like to thank the Peterson family for donating prizes to
the fundraiser. With
some late orders being turned in, our final sale amount was $17,280.00!!!
WOW!!
Since we have met our goal, the kids will be rewarded with
ice cream sundaes and the 5th grade had the most sales so
they are the winner of the classroom party!
If you still have some money to turn in, please turn it into
the school office as soon as possible so that I can close out the
books. Great

Family Picnic
We will be
having our 3rd Annual Family Picnic at Sebastian Park in
Tracy
on Friday, May 14th at 6:30 p.m.
This year, we would also like to invite any families that are
interested in St. Mary’s School.
Get the word out and invite any friends who would like to
join us and see what we’re all about at St. Mary’s.
Remember it is a potluck meal, so everyone needs to bring a
dish to pass. We are
also looking for someone willing to donate such items as hamburgers,
hot dogs, and brats. If
you are willing, please call the school office.
Come and enjoy a fun evening with our school family!
Accreditation Visit
Our
Accreditation team visited this week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
They were a wonderful team to work with and they couldn’t
express enough how much they liked our school.
I will not receive their final report from MNSAA until late
May or June and as soon as I hear anything I will let you all know.

Grandparents Day Program
This year’s
Grandparents Day Program will be Friday, May 7th at 2:00
p.m. in the school gym. Invitations
for this day are coming home with today’s newsletter.
Also, we will once again be creating our
Memorial
Garden
. This year’s theme is
“Angels Watching over Us.” Information
for the ornament this year is also coming home with today’s
newsletter.
May Crowning
Our May Crowning
will take place on Friday, May 7th at the end of
Mass.
Please remember that we
process with flowers to our statue of Mary.
We honor Mary, Mother of Jesus, and Queen of Heaven with a
prayer service and crowning ceremony.
Everyone is invited to attend!
Students are asked to bring flowers for May Crowning that
morning. If you bring
silk flowers, please make sure that your name is written on a tag
somewhere on the flower stem.
SCRIP News!
Casey’s now
has $50 cards available. Also,
Casey’s is now going to charge us a shipping fee per order.
In order to keep our costs down, we will be ordering a bit
less frequently. We will
try to have a stock inventory on hand to help in filling orders
promptly. If you have
any questions, please call Linnea Surprenant.
Applebee’s and
Land’s End
are running a 2% bonus at the moment.
