Thank you for the memorials donated in memory of Sandy Trulock and Ida Rose.  We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

St. Mary’s Kindergarten Round-Up

St. Mary’s Kindergarten Round-Up will be on Friday, April 24, 2009.  We will celebrate with Mass in the morning and then Round-Up will begin at 9:45 a.m.  If you know of anyone who is interested in St. Mary’s School, please let them know about Round-Up and if they have any questions to call the school office.

6^th Grade Pictures

This is a reminder that all 6^th grade pictures are needed for the 6^th Grade Recognition Banquet presentation by Friday, May 1^st. 

Report Cards

We need all report cards returned to school.  Before you know it, the end of the school year will be upon us and we will need them here at school for final grades.  Please return ASAP!

Testing at St. Mary’s

Every grade is finished with their testing.  Thank you for your cooperation in having your child/ren here at school each day and for making sure they had a good breakfast!  Test results should be back to school before the end of the year.

Speaker for Kindergarten Round-Up

If anyone is available to speak at Kindergarten Round-Up tomorrow morning please feel free to volunteer and let the office know.  I appreciate any help you are willing to give the school.

May Crowning

May Crowning will take place next Friday, May 1^st after the 8:30 Mass.  Please join us outside in front of our statue of Mary for a small prayer service and Crowning.  We ask that every student please bring a flower to lay at Mary’s feet.  If you choose to send silk flowers, please put your name on a piece of tape at the bottom of your flowers and we will return them to you.

Grandparents Memorial Candles

If there is anyone else who would like to have memorial candles for their grandparents, please send your money in.  We will be working on decorating the candles for the next two weeks so they are ready for Grandparents Day.

SMS Family Picnic

Our second annual St. Mary’s Family Picnic will be held on Friday, May 15^th @ 6:30pm!!!  Mark your calendars……more details and a formal invitation will be coming soon!  We had a ton of fun last year and we hope EVERYONE will be able to make it this year.  We will be looking for anyone willing to donate meat such as hamburgers, hot dogs, & brats.  If you would like to donate please contact the school office or Tammy Horner.  Thanks!!!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher appreciation week is May 3^rd through 9^th.  Please remember to thank our teachers for everything they do throughout the year.

Thank you to all our volunteers who work so hard for St. Mary’s School.  We truly appreciate all of you who donate your time and talents t our school.  Extra special recognition goes out to those who dedicate their time on a weekly basis for us – Alita Lenertz, as a reading partner with grades 1, 2, & 6.  Tammy Horner & Linnea Suprenant, our SCRIP program leaders.  Thank you also to our Education Committee members who donate their time to make St. Mary’s the best school it can be, Matt Surprenant, Laurie Vandendriessche, Kathy Brockway , Gary LaVoy, Dawn Benson, & Jeri Schons.  We would also like to thank our chairpersons for our many fundraisers throughout this school year.
