Calendar Raffle Winner

Congratulations to this week’s $100 calendar raffle winner, Gary Peterson of Tracy .  Thank you for supporting our school!

 2009-2010 School Year

If you know of anyone who is interested in sending their child/ren to St. Mary’s School for the 2009-2010 School Year, please have them call the school office.

 2009-2010 Forms

The textbook and health forms were sent home yesterday.  These forms help the school get textbook and health funding.  Please fill out one form per child, so for each child you will turn in 2 forms.  Questions please call the school office.

 6^th Grade Pictures

This is a reminder that all 6^th grade pictures are needed for the 6^th Grade Recognition Banquet presentation by Friday, May 1^st. 

 Report Cards

We need all report cards returned to school.  Before you know it, the end of the school year will be upon us and we will need them here at school for final grades.  Please return ASAP!

 May Crowning

May Crowning will take place tomorrow, Friday, May 1^st after the 8:30 Mass.  Please join us outside in front of our statue of Mary for a small prayer service and Crowning.  We ask that every student please bring a flower to lie at Mary’s feet.  If you choose to send silk flowers, please put your name on a piece of tape at the bottom of your flowers and we will return them to you.

 Grandparents Day Program

Our annual Grandparents Day Program is scheduled for Friday, May 8^th at 2:00 p.m.  Invitations were sent home last week.  Please let the office know who we can expect as our guests.  Thank you!

 SMS Family Picnic

Our second annual St. Mary’s Family Picnic will be held on Friday, May 15^th @ 6:30pm!!!  A formal invitation came home last week.  We had a ton of fun last year and we hope EVERYONE will be able to make it this year.  We will be looking for anyone willing to donate meat such as hamburgers, hot dogs, & brats.  If you would like to donate please contact the school office or Tammy Horner.  Thanks!!!

 Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher appreciation week is May 3^rd through 9^th.  Please remember to thank our teachers for everything they do throughout the year. 

 First Communion~Sunday, May 3rd

Please keep this years 2^nd grade class in your prayers as they prepare for their First Communion Sunday, May 3^rd, 2009.  Our class includes, Michel Benson, Makyah Gilbertson, Tyler Vandendriessche, & Chance DeWitte. 

SCRIP NEWS

Bath & Body Works has a special profit now at 18%($10-$25). 

 SCRIP SUMMER SCHEDULE

Last weekly SCRIP order will be May 13^th.  Then it will start our month summer schedule. 

Orders will be due the 2^nd Wednesday of the month:

Wednesday, June 10^th with delivery Friday, June 19^th

Wednesday, July 8^th with delivery Friday, July 17^th.

Wednesday, August 12^th with delivery Friday, August 21^st

Thank you to all who have participated in the SCRIP Program this year.  In addition to the amounts that have been applied to an individual accounts, we were able to contribute $6000.00 to the general school budget!
