your thoughtfulness.
Advent Wreath Blessing
Everyone is
invited to join us each Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. during Advent
as we bless our school wreath in the front hallway.
This Monday’s Advent Wreath Blessing will be done by the
Kindergarteners.
Christmas Program
Everyone did a
phenomenal job on the Christmas program.
Thank you to all of the students for their hard work.
I would like to thank all of the teachers, Mrs. Otto, Mrs.
Sanow, Mrs. Wester, and Mrs. Labat for
working with their students to memorize play parts and who helped
decorate the stage. Thank
you also to Mrs. Wester for playing
the piano for our program. Thank
you to Mrs. LaVoy for making all of
our fabulous treats. Also,
thank you to the first grade parents who helped set up, serve, and
clean up the treats.
Winter Attire
It’s that
time of year! Please
send your children with everything they’ll need for winter
weather. This includes
snowpants, boots, hats, mittens, and
coats. We go outside
every day unless it is 0 or below.
Please make sure that your children have everything they
need.
Advent Angels
Advent Angel
gifts can be brought to school anytime next week starting on
Monday. Please
remember to only write on the tag who
the present is for, DO NOT write
who the present is from. All
presents need to be to school by Wednesday morning.
Thank You!
Thank you to
Mrs. LaVoy for planning our wonderful
gingerbread house decorating day.
Thank you for making them for the students to decorate.
The students had a wonderful day!
Gingerbread Houses
The students
had a wonderful time decorating the gingerbread houses.
They are in each student’s classroom.
We don’t want to chance having them break, so we ask that
parents that are able to, please pick them up for your child.
Basketball
The basketball
season has started. The
basketball schedule came home on Tuesday night.
Just keep in mind that our tournament this year is a 5th
grade tournament and will take place on February 20th.
Jim Vandendriessche and Casey Benson are both going to be
our coaches this season. The
basketball schedule is on the school website if a paper did not
make it home. The
first game for grades 3, 4, & 5 will be January 5th
at 3:30 p.m. against Marshall Area Christian Home Education
Association.
Thank You!
Thank you to
everyone who provided a meal or meals for the Horner family.
Everything you have all done has been greatly appreciated.
Right now, Tammy has told us to wait and not to worry about
