CPT Late Start

This is just a reminder that tomorrow is a 2-Hr. CPT Late Start.  School will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Please do not drop your child/ren off until 9:45 at the earliest.  Thank you!

Valentine’s Parties!

Classroom Valentine’s parties are tomorrow.  The parties will start in each classroom at 2:00 p.m.

February Service Project

The students will be participating in the Mission of Love Valentine Project during the month of February.  Our students will be making valentines for the San Lucas Toliman Mission in Guatemala .  On each Mission Tuesday in February, we are going to use our Mission money to fill the valentines.  $2 is needed to go with each valentine.  Each $2 will feed a family for a week and provide school supplies for the students at the mission.

SCRIP News

Casey’s has notified us that they will not have $50 cards available for a period of time so we will fill orders with $25 cards.  We do have a few $50 cards on inventory so we can deplete those prior to issuing the $25 cards.  Remember to look up any national cards on www.glscrip.com.  It’s an easy way to help pay for part of your tuition!  Thank you!

Echoes Basketball

This Saturday, February 13^th at 9 a.m. the St. Mary’s Echoes will be playing at St. Anne’s in Wabasso.

St. Mary’s Tournament

Our St. Mary’s Tournament is coming up on Saturday, February 20^th.  This year it is a 5^th Grade Tournament.  Our Athletic Director, Joe Vandendriessche, sent home a letter with a sign up sheet for our families to help at the tournament.  If all slots are not filled he will be calling for people to come help.  Please help wherever you can, thank you!

Mission Mass with Bishop

On Sunday, March 14^th at 2:00 p.m. in Milroy at St. Michael’s Church, Bishop LeVoir will be celebrating Mass with the groups of people who have volunteered and visited the Mission at San Lucas Toliman.  Monsignor Greg Schaeffer will also be joining the celebration of Mass.   The students at St. Mary’s School have been invited to sing a song in Spanish after communion that afternoon.  Please let the school office know if your child can sing at Mass that afternoon.

Stations of the Cross

Starting on Friday, February 19^th we will be having Stations of the Cross each Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Church.  Benediction will follow Stations of the Cross each Friday.  Everyone is more than welcome to join us!

Meals for Mota’s

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to bring meals to the Mota’s while Theresa is recovering!  We just wanted to let everyone know that if you are in charge of a meal, please drop them off at school.  It will be easier for Theresa to get them that way as she is working in town.   We plan on helping them until the end of the month, please call the school office if you are willing to help out as we have several days left.
