Congratulations!
Congratulations
to Sammy Lessman of Tracy, this week’s $100 weekly calendar raffle
winner. Thank you for supporting our school!
Snow Make-Up Days
I just received
the word from Mr. Marlette on the scheduled make-up days for the
snow days when we missed school.
This is the plan:
*
CPT days in March, April, and May are no longer late starts.
School will start on time.
* There will be
school on March 15th and April 5th.
* The last day of
school is a full day instead of a half day.
If you have any
questions, please feel free to call the school office.
Thanks ~ Mrs. Neuman
Spring Conferences
Coming home with
today’s newsletter are the conference schedules for spring
conferences. We will
hold spring conferences on Tuesday, March 9th and
Thursday, March 11th.
Please remember that we hold conferences earlier than 4th
quarter because this gives the teachers and parents time to address
any issues with students that will need longer than the last quarter
to resolve themselves. If
there are any conflicts and you can’t make your scheduled
conference time, please call the school office and we will be happy
to help you try and reschedule your conference.
Basketball Banquet
St.
Mary’s Echoes Basketball Players
and their parents are invited to the annual basketball banquet on
Sunday, March 7th at 1:30 p.m. in the church basement.
We’re going to have cake and snacks this year instead of a
potluck. Please join us
and help celebrate a great year of basketball playing!
Schwan’s Truckload Fundraiser
Thank you to
everyone who participated in our Schwan’s truckload sale!
We received a check from Schwan’s for $296.08.
We wouldn’t have been able to raise that amount without
everyone’s help. Thank
you!
SCRIP News
Keep using the
SCRIP program to earn money towards your tuition costs.
It is easy to use and if you have any questions call Linnea
at 629-4745 or 829-8437 or talk to Robin in the office.
If we increase SCRIP, we can depend less on fundraisers!
Office Check-In
Please remember
to check-in at the office when you come to school during the school
day. This is not only
for the security of the school, but also to keep classroom
disturbances down to a minimum.
Thank you so much for your help with this matter!
We’ll see you the next time you stop by! J
Lenten Fish Fry
The Fish Fry is
scheduled for Friday, March 12th from 5 – 7 p.m. at IHM
in Currie. Please be
willing to help out when called to work.
The fish are fried outside so you won’t smell like fish if
you help in the basement so no excuses! J
We plan to serve the Baked Potato Bar as an entrée as well.
Help support our school.
Stations of the Cross will be said at 7:00 p.m.
Thanks, Linnea Surprenant.
Mission
Mass with Monsignor Schaeffer
On Sunday, March
14th at 2:00 p.m. in Milroy at St. Michael’s Church,
there will be a celebration of Monsignor Schaeffer’s 50th
Ordination Anniversary. Monsignor
Schaeffer and others who have been on trips to the mission in
Guatemala
will be there for the celebration.
The students at St. Mary’s School have been invited to sing
a song in Spanish after communion that afternoon.
Please let the school office know if your child can sing at
Mass that afternoon. So far, we have a couple of students signed up,
but we need more who can help. Thanks!
Stations of the Cross
Please join us
each Friday afternoon in the church for Stations of the Cross at
2:00 p.m. Everyone is
welcome to attend!
Kindergarten Round-Up
We will be
having our Kindergarten Round-Up early this year.
Kindergarten round-up is scheduled for Friday, March 19th.
If you know of anyone whose child is entering Kindergarten
next year, please invite them to attend our Kindergarten Round-Up.
More information is coming soon!
