Congratulations!
Congratulations
to Chad Buysse of Tracy, this week’s $100 weekly calendar raffle
winner. Thank you for
supporting our school!
Memorials
Thank you for
the memorials donated in memory of Marie Coquyt and Jim
Christopherson. We are
blessed by your thoughtfulness!
No School!
Please remember
that on Monday, February 15th
there is no school.
It is marked correctly on the school calendar.
Please ignore the meal written on the menu for that day.
Catholic Schools Week Closing Mass
Please remember
that even though the fun activities have ended this week.
We still need to celebrate one event.
Our closing Mass is on Sunday, February 7th at
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Currie.
I would like all students with Mass parts to be there by 9:30
that morning. Mass
starts at 9:45 a.m. Our
annual Soup and Pie Dinner will follow.
Please join us in the church basement that morning for fun,
food, and fellowship.
Box Tops
The 5th
graders were served breakfast this morning for bringing in the most
box tops. They turned in
1,183 box tops. Thank
you to everyone who participated.
Just in the past two weeks, the students brought in 3,219 box
tops which means that the school will receive $321.90 for their
efforts in this contest.
February Service Project
The students
will be participating in the Mission of Love Valentine Project
during the month of February. Our
students will be making valentines for the San Lucas Toliman Mission
in
Guatemala
. On each Mission
Tuesday in February, we are going to use our
Mission
money to fill the valentines. $2
is needed to go with each valentine.
Each $2 will feed a family for a week and provide school
supplies for the students at the mission.
Schwan’s Truckload
Sale
Our truckload
sale is tomorrow from 11:30 to 6:30 in the back playground parking
lot. Don’t forget to
pick up your pre-orders from the truck.
You can also buy any available items that are on the truck if
you did not pre-order anything.
January Service Project
Our Pennies for Patients pig race has ended.
The girls earn bragging rights as the winners.
We did a terrific job. The
girls won by bringing in $36 more than the boys.
As a school, we did a terrific job of bringing in $134 for
the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Thank you to everyone for their participation!
SCRIP News
Casey’s has
notified us that they will not have $50 cards available for a period
of time so we will fill orders with $25 cards.
We do have a few $50 cards on inventory so we can deplete
those prior to issuing the $25 cards.
Remember to look up any national cards on www.glscrip.com.
It’s an easy way to help pay for part of your tuition!
Thank you!
Valentine’s Parties!
Classroom
Valentine’s Day parties will be next Friday, February 12th

bringing something for the party.
