Reminder
This is a
reminder about our Easter Break and the teachers attending the NCEA-National
Catholic Education Association Convention in
Minneapolis
. There will be NO SCHOOL from Thursday, April 1st to Sunday, April 4th.
We will come back to school on Monday, April 5th
to make up one of our snow days.
Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 6th and 7th
there will be NO SCHOOL
so the teachers are able to attend the NCEA convention.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the
school office. Thank
you!
Mission
Mass with Monsignor Schaeffer
Thank you to
everyone who came to Mass in Milroy and sang.
Everyone complimented you on how well you sang and how neat
of a song it was. Thank
you for all of your hard work!
Lenten Fish Fry
We had a very
successful fish fry last Friday!
We had 3 pounds of raw bullheads (which we sold), 8 baked
potatoes, and 1 cup of coleslaw left at the end!
Lots of the kids helped out breading fish and in the dining
room so they probably have some good stories to tell!
Thank to everyone that supported it and helped!
We appreciate it! ~ Matt and Linnea Surprenant
Spring Picture Day and
All
School
Picture
This is a
reminder that Spring Picture Day is Thursday, March 25th.
Lifetouch photographers will be here to take pictures of the
students. Also, remember
to send your child/ren’s blue St. Mary’s clothing with them that
day. We have our All
School Picture on the front steps of the church at 12:30 p.m. after
recess.
Health Notice:
We have had a
lot of cases of strep throat happen recently.
At this time, the strep is acting different than its normal
symptoms. The students
who have contracted it complain of a little sore throat but run no
fever. They also
complain of stomach aches and just all around don’t feel good.
We wanted you to be aware of this in case your child/ren at
home starts to complain about a sore throat but have no fever.
There has been at least one case of strep in each classroom
in the last two weeks.
Stations of the Cross
Please join us
each Friday afternoon in the church for Stations of the Cross at
2:00 p.m. Everyone is
welcome to attend!
