Congratulations
to this week’s $100 calendar raffle winner, Shannon Radoush
of Gaylord. Congratulations
also go to Laura Lanoue of Tracy, last week’s $500 Grandparents

you for supporting our school!
CPT Late Start
Tomorrow is
our CPT Late Start. School
will not begin until 10:05 a.m.
SMS Family Picnic
We look
forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night at our 2nd
Annual St. Mary’s Family Picnic.
Please join us at 6:30
p.m. at Sebastian Park. Don’t
forget your dish to pass! We had a ton of fun last year and can’t
wait to have fun again this year!
Thank you to everyone for your generous donations of money
and items for the Family Picnic!
They are greatly appreciated.
2009-2010 School Year
If you know of
anyone who is interested in sending their child/ren
to St. Mary’s School for the 2009-2010 School Year, please have
them call the school office.
2009-2010 Forms
The textbook
and health forms were sent home last week.
These forms help the school get textbook and health
funding. If you haven’t
done so, please fill out one form per child, so for each child you
will turn in 2 forms. If
you have any questions, please call the school office.
Field Day
St. Mary’s
will have their annual Field Day on Tuesday, May 19th
at 12:30 p.m. at
Swift
Lake
Park
. We enjoy having many
people and you are more than welcome to come.
We are also in need of volunteers.
If you would like to help out at any of the events, please
let the office know. Thank
you!
Field Day #2
If you feel
that your child needs sunscreen for field day, please send the
bottle of sunscreen with a note to school with your child on
Tuesday. We will hold
onto the bottle in the office and will hand it to your child to
use before they go. Also,
please pack a pair of
shorts in your child/ren’s backpack
that day. If it is
extremely warm, we will let the students change into shorts before
leaving for
Swift
Lake
Park
. Thank you!
May Service Project
The box is
sitting outside the school office for the birthday kit donations.
Each grade is in charge of a certain item to bring in.
The Sixth Grade and Fourth Grade have done a great job;
those two grades have brought in their 20 items.
We need about 15 more items from each grade and we’ll
package those up to deliver next week.
Thank you for supporting our service projects this year!
Boxcar Day Food Stand Chairperson
We thank Gary
and Joan LaVoy for being the 2008
chair-people for our Boxcar Day Food Stand.
Their daughter, Jennifer, is graduating from St. Mary’s
this year and they won’t be involved with St. Mary’s any
longer. We need
someone to take their place. The
information for running the food stand is put together and ready
for someone to take over. Joan
mentioned that she would be willing to guide the new chair-people
on how to get ready and how to run the day.
If you would like to volunteer, please let the school
office know. Thank
you!
6th Grade Graduation

Let us keep them in our thoughts and prayers as they go on
