Congratulations to Fr. Bob Mraz of Tracy, our $500 Grandparents Day Program calendar raffle winner.  Congratulations also to Jerry Beck of Walnut Grove, this week’s $100 weekly calendar raffle winner.  Thank you for supporting our school!

Memorials

Family Picnic ~ Change of Location!

We will be having our 3^rd Annual Family Picnic on St. Mary’s School playground on Friday, May 14^th at 6:30 p.m.  We’re having it at school so that any families that are interested in St. Mary’s School can visit with teachers and get a tour of the school.  Get the word out and invite any friends who would like to join us and see what we’re all about at St. Mary’s.  Remember it is a potluck meal, so everyone needs to bring a dish to pass.  We are also looking for someone willing to donate such items as hot dogs and brats.  We are also looking for someone to help set up tables, lemonade, water, and games that afternoon.  If you are willing, please call the school office.  Come and enjoy a fun evening with our school family!

K-2 Spring Plays

The Kindergarten, First and Second Graders have been busy preparing their spring plays.  Mrs. Otto has been sick this week so we’ve rescheduled the plays.  The plays will take place next Thursday, May 20^th at 2:15 p.m. in the old Religion room.  We hope to see you then!

Parent Volunteer

Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to help in the office during the last two weeks of the school year.  I will definitely be calling those who have offered their assistance.  Thanks!

 Field Day

Our annual Field Day will be taking place on Tuesday, May 25^th at 12:30 p.m. at Swift Lake Park .  The students and staff will be having their picnic lunch out at Swift Lake Park and then we’ll start field day at 12:30.  I am asking for parent volunteers to help out that afternoon.  It’s a fun and exciting afternoon and we’d love to see you there!  Please call the school office if you can help!  Thanks ~ Mrs. Neuman

Living Rosary

Please join us tomorrow, Friday, May 14^th at 2:00 p.m. in the school gym as we pray the rosary.  Each grade becomes a decade of the rosary and the 5^th graders lead us in the readings of each mystery.  We would love to have you pray with us!  We will also celebrate May birthdays afterwards. 

SCRIP News!!!!!

The last week to order SCRIP to receive your order the last week of school is Wednesday, May 19^th.  We will once again place orders once per month during June, July, and August.  More information with specific dates to order will be in next week’s newsletter.
