Congratulations!
Congratulations to Tom
Lenertz of
Tracy
,
MN
, this week’s $100 weekly calendar raffle winner.
Thank you for supporting our school!
Thank you!
Thank you for the
memorials donated in memory of Omer Eischens.
We are blessed by your thoughtfulness!
Thanksgiving Break!
Keep in mind that our
Thanksgiving Break will be next Thursday and Friday, November 26th
and 27th. We hope
you all have a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends.
Report Cards
Please make sure to
return your child/ren’s report card to school as soon as possible.
If you have already done so, thank you!
Fall Conferences
Thank you to everyone
for visiting with us at fall conferences.
We enjoyed speaking with all of you.
PartyLite Fundraiser
We have had to extend
this fundraiser. Please try
very hard to sell these items. We
need to make up the difference of not making our magazine goal.
Don’t forget that 50% of what we sell for PartyLite comes back to
the school. The only other
fundraiser that has a higher percentage is our
Marathon
. Please turn in everything by
Monday, November 30th. Thank
you for working hard for our school.
Congratulations!
Congratulations to
Hannah Brockway and Victoria Schons who are our 5th Grade
Consistent Academic Achievers this year.
They will be honored at tonight’s American Education Banquet at
the Shetek Bend. Way to go
girls!
Meals for Horner’s
Thank you to everyone
who has already volunteered to bring a meal to the Horner family.
We have through November 30th covered.
Please help us keep them supplied with meals up to Christmas Break.
There are about 14 days to take care of in December.
I know that the family really appreciates your efforts.
It’s one more thing that Tammy doesn’t have to worry about
while she is in
Sioux Falls
with Joseph.
Thanksgiving Meal for Food Shelf
Thank you to everyone
who has brought in items for our Thanksgiving Meal.
We are still in need of more food items.
We have enough gravy and cheesecake mixes, we are in need of green
beans, cream of mushroom soup, fried onions, corn, mashed potatoes, and
stuffing. Please help if you
can. I will need to take
everything to the food shelf tomorrow.
Let’s make some families’ Thanksgiving wonderful!
Soup and Pie
Don’t forget that
our Soup and Pie is this Sunday,
November 22, 2009. Please
join us for food, fun, and fellowship.
The Soup and Pie will run from 11:30 – 1:00 in the church
basement. Thank you to
everyone for helping out.
SCRIP NEWS!!
Remember to use SCRIP
for your
Holiday
shopping!
Bath
and Body is at 18% profit through the end of the year ($10 and $25 cards),
JCPenney is at 6% profit and Shopko is at 3% profit.
Advent Angels
The children will draw
for Advent Angels next week. This
year we are doing something a little different.
Instead of just drawing a name of someone in their classroom, the
students will be drawing a name from the entire school.
For example, if you have a student in First Grade, they might end
up picking out a 4th Grader’s name.
Please remember over Advent, your child is to do nice things for
their person, draw pictures, and even giving candy canes and such is okay.
Our Christmas party this year will be an all school Christmas party
in our gym. Advent Angels will
be revealed then. More
information will come home next week.
St.
Mary’s Basketball
We are getting ready
for our Echoes basketball. However,
we are in need of a coach!! If
you or someone you know would be interested please have them contact Joe
Vandendriessche or the school office!
