Calendar Raffle

Catholic Order of Foresters Marathon

Our Catholic Order of Foresters sponsored Marathon is this Sunday!!!!!  Please be to End-O-Line Park in Currie, MN at 1:45 for check-in.  We’ll have prayer at 2:00 p.m. and then the children will be off on the bike trail.  We can’t wait to see everyone!  Keep collecting pledges!  We have a long way to go!  We are at $2300 and our goal is $12,000.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Next Tuesday, October 6^th, the Kindergarten, First, and Second Graders will be going to the Poppe Pumpkin Patch in Lakefield , MN .  Please pray for their safe travel!

Children’s Holy Field Trip

Next Wednesday, October 7^th, the Third and Fourth Graders will be going to New Ulm for the Children’s Holy Field Trip.  The students will pray the rosary at the Cathedral, have lunch at Hermann Park , and then take a tour of the pastoral center.  Please pray for their safe travel!

Magazine Sales

This is just a reminder that magazine sales have been extended to Monday.  Please try to sell some more magazines over the weekend.  We are a long way from our goal.  We need a huge push from everyone!

School Strategic Plan Subcommittee

At our parent meeting, I mentioned that this year, with Accreditation happening, we needed to form a Strategic Plan Subcommittee.  This subcommittee will brainstorm ideas for many different aspects of our school.  If you would be interested in joining this subcommittee, please contact the school office to let Mrs. Neuman know by next Thursday, October 8.  I would like to have our first meeting after the MEA weekend break.

National Fire Prevention Week

Next week is National Fire Prevention Week.  It is a good time to make sure that all the batteries in your smoke alarms are working.  Also, this time is also a great time to make sure that your family has an evacuation plan in place in case of fire.  The Tracy Fire Department will be here Thursday afternoon for a fire prevention demonstration for the students.

Mission Tuesday

Each Tuesday is named Mission Tuesday because it is the day that students bring in donations for the Mission Project we have decided on this year.  This year, we are focusing once again on our San Lucas Toliman Mission in Guatemala .  The donations from the students do not need to be huge amounts, small amounts from each student, adds up quickly.  Mission Tuesday has always been a part of the students’ service to others.

Calendar Raffle

We are trying to wrap up the calendar raffle and there are a handful of people who still have money to collect for tickets that were turned in.  Please make every effort to take care of this as soon as possible so we can finish up the final numbers.  Thanks.

Hot Lunch

Thank you to all of the families that are making every effort to pay their lunch accounts in advance.  There are still a couple of you who have money owing for October so if you can get it in as soon as possible we would greatly appreciate it!
