Fundraisers!
Thank you to
everyone who worked so hard during the
Magazine Drive
and Catholic Order of Foresters Marathon!
Our goal for magazines was $8,000 and we were able to sell $5115
worth of magazines. Our goal
for
Marathon
was $12,000 and we made it!!! Everyone
brought in $12,739, once again, thank you!
Echoes Basketball!
It’s getting close
to that time of year again when our basketball season starts up.
Joe Vandendriessche, our Athletic Director, is trying to get
everything prepared. He
needs to know the numbers of students in Grade 4 and 5 who would be
interested in playing basketball and if anyone would volunteer to be the
basketball coach. Please let
the school office know if you will volunteer.
SCRIP News
Please remember to
use the SCRIP program especially as we start to think about holiday
gifts. Applebee’s cards
are at 10% instead of 8% through December 31, 2009.
Cabella’s cards ($25 and $100) are
at 12% instead of 11% through the end of the year.
JCPenney cards are at 6% instead of
5% through November 20, 2009. Shopko
cards ($25 and $50) are at 3% instead of 2% through January 29, 2010.
Shell gas cards ($25, $50, and $100) are at 2.5% instead of 1.5%
through the end of the year. SCRIP
is an easy way to pay for tuition! For
the new families that haven’t used SCRIP yet, contact the office and
we will let you know how to start using SCRIP either locally and/or
nationally! Thanks ~ Linnea
Surprenant
Wreath Sales
Our wreath sales
fundraiser is going on right now. Please
don’t forget to check with anyone who may be interested in decorating
their house with greenery for the holidays.
All orders need to be back to the school office by Monday,
November 2nd.
All Saints Day Parties
Our All Saints Day
Parties will be taking place on Friday, October 30th at 2:00
p.m. in the classrooms. Teachers
will be contacting room parents shortly and then room parents will be
contacting everyone who needs to bring treats that day.
Calendar Raffle
We are trying to
wrap up the calendar raffle and there are a handful of people who still
have money to collect for tickets that were turned in.
Please make every effort to take care of this as soon as possible
so we can finish up the final numbers.
Thanks.
H1N1 Note
Please note that
public health will be offering the H1N1 vaccine to St. Mary’s
Students. The vaccine is
scheduled to be administered on November 18th for those who
are interested. There is no
charge for this vaccine. More
information will be coming home in the next couple of weeks.
PartyLite
Christmas is coming
soon! There are only 63 more
shopping days until Christmas. Why
not take care of your holiday gift needs with PartyLite
candles? New this year, PartyLite
fundraising; it’s easy, all products are shipped to you to distribute,
and 50% of the profit is given back to the school.
These candles make great Christmas gifts as well as appreciation
gifts for anybody in your life. Stop
by the school office if you would like to view samples of the PartyLite
items. Forms will be coming
home Monday afternoon and need to be returned by November 13, 2009.
We’ve had to recently purchase new textbooks for one of the
grade levels and didn’t meet our magazine goal; this is to help meet
those deficits. Our goal for
this fundraiser is $8000. Please
do everything you can to help!
