 Spanish

     The students in grades 3, 4, and 5 all participated in a partner conversation.  We had learned simple conversation words in Spanish and used those to create a conversation with a partner.  The students had a terrific time and even though they were a little bashful about performing their conversations in front of everyone.  They really tried hard and class became a little more fun.

     The students in K, 1, and 2 are learning new vocabulary words.  We are learning Spanish words for different items throughout the school and school items that would fit in our backpacks.

Music

     Music had focused on practicing our Spanish song for Monsignor Schaeffer's ordination celebration.  We've also been practicing songs for Lent during Mass.  We will start to work on our Grandparent's Day songs as well as return to our textbooks.
